Job Summary

The Recruitment Assistant supports the hiring process by coordinating recruitment activities, maintaining candidate records, and assisting recruiters and hiring managers throughout the recruitment lifecycle. This role plays a key part in ensuring a smooth, efficient, and positive experience for candidates and internal stakeholders.

Working hours may vary based on recruitment workload and hiring needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with posting job vacancies on job boards, career pages, and social media platforms
  • Screen CVs and applications against job requirements
  • Capturing and compiling candidate profiles
  • Schedule interviews and coordinate communication between candidates and hiring managers
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
  • Respond to candidate inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Prepare interview materials and assist with interview logistics
  • Support background checks, reference checks, and onboarding documentation
  • Generate recruitment reports and track hiring metrics as required
  • Ensure recruitment processes comply with company policies and relevant employment legislation
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Post Matric qualification preferred
  • Education Experience is necessary - either a primary or high school
  • Internet access and own PC required
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
