Requirements
  • Appropriate qualification that allows registration with the HPCSA as a Radiation Oncology Radiographer. Registration with the HPCSA in Radiation Oncology Radiography. 4 (Four) appropriate years of experience after registration with the HPCSA as a Diagnostic Radiographer.
Duties
  • Undertakes all basic radiation planning and treatment preparation. Treats all patients according to departmental protocols based on local and international research. Participates in academic activities. Responsible for localization planning and accurate delivery of radiation treatment to patients’ with neo-plasms. Provides physical and emotional support of patients. Conducts Daily and weekly quality assurance. Performs administrative duties. Assist students during clinical work to develop radiography skills.
