A leading dairy processing company located in Cape Town is seeking a dedicated individual to operate and lead a plant team. The ideal candidate should possess a Matric Maths and Science or N3, and a National Certificate in Food Processing along with a Diploma in Production Management. Responsibilities include ensuring product quality, achieving maximum throughput, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives while monitoring performance. Experience in supervisory roles is essential.

Full competence within this role would typically be developed over a period of 2 - 3 years
6 months 1 year from Diploma level in dairy processing role, Team leader / supervisory experience needed Knowledge :
Knowledge of the practical application of fruit processing and technology
This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment for the production of food products
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of food products
Knowledge of the process, product, processing requirements, maintenance procedures, cleaning procedures, health and safety procedures, HACCP, ISO and general manufacturing practices Skills
performance / development of product make improvements or take corrective action on the processing thereof.
