A Food Manufacturing company in Pretoria is looking for a Production Planner to join their team. The role focuses on developing strategic plans, monitoring production, and building effective stakeholder relationships. Candidates should have a degree in Industrial Engineering or a relevant BCom, along with 2-3 years of production planning experience and strong analytical skills. FMCG experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years experience in Production Planning.
• FMCG experience will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop recommendations and action plans for departmental strategy.
• Monitor and track against the plan.
• Daily interaction with team members to deliver strategy.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to overcome challenges.
• Contribute to strategic plans with suppliers.
• Conduct stock build plans considering raw materials supply.
• Identify challenges, trends and opportunities.
• Maintain Data and Systems.
• Issuing daily plans/schedules for production units.
• Other related duties.

Our client has an opportunity for an energetic candidate to join their company in the capacity of a Production Planner. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Develop recommendations and subsequent action plans to enable the delivery of the departmental strategy.
• Monitor and track against the plan
• Day to day interaction with team members to deliver strategy
• Build and develop effective relationships with relevant stakeholders to highlight and determine best solution to overcome challenges to continuously improve
• Contribute to delivering strategic plans with suppliers by liaising regularly on trend changes and tactical forecasting.
• Conduct stock build plans considering capacity raw materials supply etc
• Identify challenges, trends and opportunities
• Maintain Data and Systems
• Issuing daily plans/schedules for all production units.
• Other related duties
