Production Operations Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Operations Assistant to support our production team. The ideal candidate will have excellent administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Loading new production orders into our ERP system in a timely manner.
  • Sourcing materials under supervision and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Updating production schedules based on progress reports from production teams.
  • Processing job closures in the ERP system, ensuring accurate time and material data capture.
  • Maintaining production data accuracy, including updating delivery dates and status changes.
  • Compiling and distributing required production documents, including job cards, engineering drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Managing the filing system for closed job cards and production records to ensure traceability.
  • Acting as a liaison between the production office and shop floor to chase job status updates or missing documentation.
Requirements
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
