Responsibilities include driving coding schema usage, collaborating with stakeholders, and performing quality assurance testing. The ideal candidate should have tertiary qualifications in a healthcare-related field, possess knowledge of medical terminology, and be proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Previous experience in the medical devices industry and clinical coding knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

• Drive appropriate use of defined coding schemas to classify MedTech products
• Deliver high quality outputs, including data quality assessment, classification as per defined coding
  schemas, manage the upload of coding updates, and quality assurance testing of data uploads
• To own the product classification of a set number of clients at any one time, under the supervision of a
  Product Support Specialist
• Intensive learning and acquisition of clinical coding
• Often in collaboration with your internal stakeholders, transform client questions and problems into
  suitable actions for your execution or escalation
• Communicate solutions in Excel, Word and PowerPoint in concise and impactfull formats

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in healthcare-related field
• Knowledge of medical and medical device terminology, and a good understanding of human anatomy and physiology will be an added advantage
• Practical knowledge of clinical coding e.g. ICD10 will be an added advantage
• Experience working in the medical devices industry will be an added advantage
• Proficient in Excel, Work and PowerPoint
• The ability to work to a high degree of accuracy with attention to detail
