Flash is looking for a Procurement Specialist I to help deliver on our mission to free consumers from the hassles of everyday travel by making it faster and easier to get where you need to go, so they can focus on the destination.
The Procurement Specialist owns and delivers on all activities related to purchasing raw materials, parts, custom items, finished goods, equipment, and supplies.
The role requires working closely with the other Supply Chain and Production functions to ensure all components are available to complete work orders and fulfill customer shipments.
The role is also responsible for coordinating with the field on return items and RMA.
By leveraging company systems: NetSuite, ShipHawk, Jira, and RFSmart, the Procurement Specialist will have complete ownership of inventory forecasting and implement modern supply chain methods to support the business.
The role interfaces closely with Warehouse Leadership, Production and Manufacturing, and Project Managers.

Oversee the entire order-to-inventory process, including requesting vendor quotes, evaluating supplier capabilities, writing purchase orders, scheduling freight & parcel delivery, receiving and logging parts into inventory, and coordinating drop shipments as necessary.
Utilizing data analytics, maintain strict control over inventory levels, recommend adjustments to minimum and maximum levels, and frequently audit and adjust systems, controls and processes as needed.
Make purchasing decisions within defined spend authority and recommend suppliers based on analysis of cost, quality, and performance.
Processing RMAs and coordinating with vendors on defective / incorrect item.
Use judgment to recommend supplier corrective actions or alternative sourcing when recurring issues arise.
Utilize data analytics to track performance, pinpoint bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement.
Competitively bid out standard batch and special material orders to identify high quality and economical partners, including making recommendations on supplier selection.
Work in lock‑step with Production and Fulfillment teams on prioritization and forecasting, providing recommendations on supply strategies and alternatives.
Communicate with vendors and carriers to maintain strong relationships and coordinate inbound materials.
Coordinate with national branch depots on inventory levels and re‑stoking.
Recommend corrective actions or supplier changes when performance issues impact quality or delivery.
Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems, NetSuite and Ship Hawk are highly preferred.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and track KPIs.
Familiar with Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, etc.).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Have a proactive, solutions‑oriented mindset and enjoy solving complex problems.
Exceptional decision‑making abilities, with a high degree of detail orientation.
Ability to adapt to changing business needs and a fast‑paced work environment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language in a business environment.
1 year of experience in procurement, buying, vendor management, order fulfillment, warehouse management, logistics, or similar is preferred.
Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment is highly desired.
Education: If no professional experience, a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or Logistics is required.
$45,-$50, / year.
Final salary will be determined based on candidate's skills and experience level.
