Our client based in Isando/Kempton Park is looking for a Process Technician. Experience in operation of wastewater treatment facility, Boiler and Cooling Towers.

Requirements

Education:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • N3+ electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Experience:

  • Experience in operation of wastewater treatment facility, Boiler and Cooling Towers.
  • Knowledge of Municipal by-laws and effluent discharge parameters.
  • Forklift licence.
  • Basic MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the methods, tools, and equipment used in the operation of Wastewater Treatment, Steam generation and Effluent discharge to include procedures for sampling, testing, measurement of effluent parameters as well as diagnosing malfunctions.
  • Thorough knowledge of current and accepted occupational safety and health practices and principles to include operation and maintenance of equipment.
