The Drain Care Specialist is responsible for executing scheduled preventative maintenance and performing emergency drain flush-outs across multiple store locations. This role ensures optimal drainage functionality, mitigates blockages, and upholds hygiene and operational compliance standards within a dynamic food service environment.

What You'll Be Cooking Up:
  • Conduct routine drain inspections and perform preventative maintenance across all assigned stores.
  • Execute drain flush-outs using approved equipment and chemicals.
  • Identify potential drainage issues and recommend corrective actions to the Facilities Manager.
  • Maintain accurate service logs and submit detailed reports after each visit.
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Respond promptly to emergency drain blockages to minimize operational downtime.
  • Coordinate with store managers to schedule maintenance without disrupting operations.
  • Preventative Maintenance Completion Rate: 100% of scheduled visits completed monthly.
  • Response Time: Timely resolution of emergency blockages.
  • Incident Reduction: Decrease in drainage-related issues across stores.
  • Compliance Score: Maintain high ratings during hygiene audits.
What You'll Bring to the Table:
  • National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
  • Plumbing Trade test or equivalent will be an advantage.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between stores.
  • Basic plumbing knowledge and experience with drainage systems.
  • Ability to operate drain cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
