Job summary

A consulting firm in Cape Town is seeking a Power Procurement Project Manager to oversee contract management and project delivery for Power Purchase Agreements. The ideal candidate should possess a BEng in Electrical Engineering with over 8 years of relevant experience and a PMP qualification. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Power Purchase Agreements contract management and project delivery.
  • Lead stakeholder management, domain matter support, and project/financial management.
Key Requirements
  • BEng or B(Hons) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with 8+ years of experience.
  • BTech/BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with 10 years of experience.
  • PMP (or equivalent Project Management Qualification).
  • ECSA Professional registration or eligibility for ECSA professional registration as a professional engineer or technologist.
  • Proven experience in project management and delivery of contracts from tender to completion within a large/complex construction project.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering best practices, government procurement processes, supplier management, ISO quality systems, and related policies and processes.
