Job summary

A mining company in Hotazel is seeking a Plant Chargehand to supervise and coordinate daily operations and maintenance activities. Qualifications

• At least 4 years’ experience as a Qualified Artisan in a mining environment.
• At least 1 year of Supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of plant machinery such as crushers, conveyors, screens, pumps.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate maintenance operations of the plant section.
• Lead a team of artisans and general workers in plant maintenance.
• Conduct inspections and fault finding on mechanical and electrical plant equipment.
• Ensure planned maintenance is executed according to schedules.
• Provide training and mentoring to junior staff.
