What Youll Own & Drive
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize all plant-critical equipment with a strong focus on process reliability and efficiency
  • Get hands-on, inspect and support planned maintenance alongside the maintenance team
  • Drive a culture of preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns and boost plant availability
  • Lead the implementation of engineering strategies, policies, and procedures to align with O&M goals
  • Conduct root cause analysis for major equipment failures and implement sustainable corrective actions
  • Ensure top-tier compliance with environmental, safety, and legal standards
  • Coach and collaborate with teams to execute engineering excellence at every level
What You Bring to the Plant Floor:
Qualifications:
  • Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent
  • GCC Factories (a must-have for this role)
  • Commercial training or project exposure is a strong advantage
Experience:
  • 15+ years as a Plant Engineer in a power plant or utilities environment
  • Deep knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment optimization, and planned maintenance strategy
  • Master of SHERQ systems, OHS legislation, and General Machinery Regulations
  • Strong knowledge of plant operations, risk management, and engineering controls
  • Ability to lead from the front and not shy away from getting hands-on when needed
  • Meticulous, methodical, and analytical with strong problem-solving ability
  • Comfortable with data analysis, report writing, project management, and team leadership
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CMMS, and performance monitoring tools
