YOUR ROLE

We are seeking a highly experienced Picking Teamlead to oversee ingredient picking, weighing, and preparation processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with production standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing teams within a food or manufacturing environment where precise weighing and batching of ingredients is critical.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervise and coordinate daily picking and weighing operations for production batches.
  • Ensure ingredients are picked and weighed according to recipes, production schedules, and quality standards.
  • Maintain strict adherence to hygiene, safety, and quality control procedures.
  • Oversee inventory accuracy and minimize waste or discrepancies in weighed materials.
  • Train and mentor picking and weighing staff on best practices, safety, and accuracy.
  • Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Coordinate with production, warehouse, and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Conduct regular audits of weighing scales, labelling, and ingredient traceability systems.
  • Maintain records of weighed ingredients, batch reports, and daily production logs.
  • Monitor staff performance and schedule shifts to meet operational needs.
YOUR EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a picking, weighing, or materials management role.
  • Proven experience in ingredient weighing or batch preparation (preferably in food, pharmaceuticals, or chemical manufacturing).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems and weighing equipment calibration.
  • Knowledge of food safety (HACCP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) preferred.
  • Basic computer literacy (ERP, Excel, production reporting systems)
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Effective communicator with cross-functional teams.
  • Hands‑on leadership style with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment.
