Job description
  • As the Sales Manager you manage and co-ordinate activities for key and major customers under guidance of the Regional Sales Manager
  • You will contribute to the development of strategic plans for allocated key and major customers
  • Gain full understanding of key and major customer processes, identify growth opportunities and collaborate with specialist resources such as manufacturing Industries, to develop process/product solutions and thereby adding value to the customer
  • In addition, you will secure long-term supply agreements with Key and Major Account Customers, applying the LindePro methodology via the SFDC platform
  • Professionally, you maintain, retain, manage, and grow the allocated customer base and manage assets on customer premises
  • Part of your responsibility is grow sales by identifying gaps at allocated major customers; grow profits through effectively optimizing pricing opportunities and implementing Best Commercial Practice

What makes you great

  • You possess a qualification in commercial, business or marketing and you have gained at least three to five (3 - 5) years of sales experience or customer and asset management
  • A code 8 driver's License is essential
  • You have strong sales communications skills and technical knowledge of gas products, welding and mining applications and familiar with safety standards
  • Demonstrated knowledge of both technical and commercial contexts of the Compressed and Hard goods business and working knowledge of SAPs
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver on stretch targets
  • Furthermore, you are expected to be available during non-office hours to cater for customer requirements
