About the Role

A dynamic company in Waverley, Johannesburg is seeking an exceptionally organised, detail-driven and assertive Personal Assistant to support the Director and a small, high-performing team. They require a strong personality who is deadline-driven, proactive, and able to take charge while maintaining excellent attention to detail. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in structure, loves order, and enjoys being the backbone of a busy office environment.

Minimum Requirements
  • Matric (essential)
  • Own vehicle and valid driver’s licence (essential)
  • Must live within 20 km of Waverley, Johannesburg
  • 3+ years experience as a Personal Assistant, Office Administrator or Executive Assistant
  • Advanced Microsoft Outlook experience
  • Google Workspace proficiency
  • Excel skills at intermediate to advanced level
  • Experience with SAGE Accounting
  • Experience with project management tools such as Monday.com, Asana or Trello
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Highly organised, proactive, and professional
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving small team
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Director’s diary, meetings, scheduling, and follow-ups
  • Record, prepare, and distribute meeting minutes
  • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly operational rhythms
  • Check and reconcile various checklists and spreadsheets
  • Assist the team with workflow management, task coordination, and deadlines
  • Perform HR administration, including leave, personnel files, onboarding, and training recordkeeping
  • Process supplier invoices and assist with client invoicing
  • Oversee office logistics, couriers, Uber requests, and inventory control
  • Liaise between the Director and the accountant on financial processes
  • Provide high-level administrative, operational, and executive support
