A leading dairy enterprise in Eastern Cape is seeking a Payroll Accountant to manage payroll for a diverse workforce while supporting accounts payable. This fully remote role requires a grounding in accounting or finance and at least two years of payroll experience. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-growing environment, demonstrating accuracy, clear communication, and accountability. Embrace the opportunity to contribute to a team that keeps multiple operations running smoothly.
Join a respected Eastern Cape dairy enterprise where precision, partnership and purpose define the operation.
An established Eastern Cape–based agricultural enterprise operating within the dairy sector is positioned across multiple regional estates, specialising in the aggregation, management and commercial supply of fresh milk to the market. Built on strong operational discipline and long-standing industry relationships, the business is known for its reliable logistics, quality assurance standards and efficient multi-site operations, supporting a robust and steadily growing presence within the regional dairy value chain.
Stepping in as the Payroll Accountant, you become the quiet engine behind that growth. You’ll take full ownership of payroll for a diverse workforce, ensuring accuracy, compliance and calm through every pay cycle. Your financial grounding will carry into the creditors function too – maintaining supplier accounts, resolving queries, processing journals, and keeping reconciliations clean and timely. It’s a role built on trust and independence – fully remote, with occasional time in the PE office to stay connected with a team that values initiative, clarity and collaboration.
Success here comes from a blend of technical confidence and practical intuition. You’ll bring a grounding in accounting, finance or business management, ideally strengthened by SAIPA registration, and supported by practical accounts payable experience and at least two solid years working in payroll. Experience on Xero adds further weight, but more important than software is the mindset – someone who takes ownership, communicates clearly and thrives in a fast-growing environment that still feels close-knit and personal.
Why choose ordinary payroll when you can be part of a team trusted to keep multiple operations running smoothly?
