Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce pastries, desserts and baked goods according to recipes and plating standards.
• Maintain full mise‑en‑place and keep your section clean, organized and ready for service.
• Uphold strict hygiene, safety and food handling standards (HACCP).
• Collaborate closely with the pastry and kitchen team to deliver seamless service.
• Take initiative in learning, tasting and refining your pastry techniques.

Requirements

• Certificate or Diploma in Pastry or Professional Cookery (advantageous).
• 6–12 months’ experience in a professional pastry, bakery or hotel kitchen.
• Strong foundational pastry skills – mixing, piping, folding, glazing and tempering.
• Attention to detail, time management and creative flair.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a high‑performance environment.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.
