Parts Procurement Specialist Automotive (Trucks & Bakkies)

Pace Car Rental is seeking a Parts Procurement Specialist to streamline and manage the sourcing of vehicle parts for our trucks and bakkies. If youre a detail-driven organised and experienced buyer with a passion for accuracy and quality wed like to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities :

Procurement : Oversee the full purchasing process for vehicle parts (truck and bakkie) ensuring accuracy and timeous orders

Supplier Liaison : Negotiate with suppliers manage accounts and resolve order discrepancies

Inventory Management : Conduct regular stock audits and manage inventory on a just-in-time basis

Cost Control : Source high-quality parts while maintaining cost budgets and securing competitive pricing

Documentation & Admin : Maintain accurate records of ordered received and issued parts; ensure all paperwork is filed on the system

Workshop Coordination : Work closely with workshop managers to ensure timely delivery and handling of returns and courier logistics

Quality Control : Verify all parts meet required standards before fitment

Requirements :

23 years proven experience in parts procurement (trucks & bakkies essential)

Strong supplier negotiation skills

Proficiency in MS Word Excel and general computer literacy

Exceptional attention to detail and record accuracy

Strong organisational and time-management abilities

Clear and professional communicator with internal teams and suppliers

Excellent problem-solving ability for order and delivery challenges

Valid drivers license

Must be based in Johannesburg
