Part time Housekeeper / Nanny Job in Chigwell, East London

A new client of Greycoat Lumleys, a warm and welcoming family of four, is seeking a proactive and dependable Housekeeper / Nanny to join their household. The family has two young children, aged two and eight, who attend full-time nursery and school. They live in a spacious four‑bedroom, three‑storey home and have a large dog; however, no pet care duties are required.

The position involves approximately 80% housekeeping and 20% childcare. Both parents work full‑time, so the ideal candidate should be organised and confident in managing household tasks while providing support for the children.

Duties to include

• General housekeeping: cleaning, laundry and ironing
• Cooking for the children
• Preparing the children’s school and nursery bags
• Supervising homework
• Occasional school and nursery pick‑ups
• Packing and unpacking for family travel
• Running household errands, such as dropping off / collecting parcels and light shopping

The ideal candidate will have experience in housekeeping and caring for young children, ideally in a professional setting, but personal experience will also be considered. The family is looking for someone proactive, intuitive and reliable who can confidently manage household tasks and childcare. A driving licence would be a bonus.

Working week: Monday to Friday
