Description
About Gearsupply

Gearsupply is the leading online marketplace for buying and selling AV equipment. Our mission is to help buyers access the most comprehensive inventory of professional audio, lighting, and video gear — and to give sellers unmatched exposure across the internet. With exceptional customer service, safe payments, trusted shipping partners, and significantly lower fees than alternatives, we aim to provide the best possible marketplace experience for the live events and AV industries.

Role Overview

We’re seeking a creative, detail‑oriented Part‑Time Graphic Designer to support our marketing, sales, and marketplace teams. In this role, you’ll design promotional graphics that drive engagement, increase conversions, and support the sale of inventory across all platforms where Gearsupply shows up — including social media, email campaigns, and the Gearsupply.com marketplace itself.

This role is ideal for a designer who enjoys clean, functional, commerce‑focused design, understands how to visually highlight products, and wants to contribute to a fast‑moving e‑commerce environment.

Key Responsibilities
Marketplace & Inventory Promotion
  • Create promotional graphics, banners, and onsite visuals for Gearsupply.com that highlight featured listings, new arrivals, seasonal sales, and marketplace‑wide promotions.
  • Develop product‑focused visuals that help drive conversions and support sales initiatives.
  • Work with the operations and marketplace teams to design assets that improve listing visibility and customer engagement.
Marketing & Growth Design
  • Design, write copy for, and schedule social media promos, ads, and short‑form content to promote inventory and marketplace activity.
  • Create banners, headers, graphic elements, and light copy for email newsletters, drip campaigns, product spotlights, and sales events.
  • Produce digital and print collateral such as one‑pagers, presentations, brochures, and trade materials.
Brand & Content Support
  • Maintain and iterate on Gearsupply’s brand style across all design touchpoints.
  • Support marketing with visuals that clearly convey product value, marketplace features, and service offerings.
  • Assist with photo editing and visual cleanup for gear listings and promotional assets.
Print, Merchandise & Internal Design
  • Design and occasionally manage production for Gearsupply merch (stickers, apparel, office items).
  • Coordinate with vendors for printing, ordering, and delivery when needed.
General
  • Handle multiple design tasks simultaneously with solid organization and quick turnaround times.
  • Bring fresh creative ideas to help better promote inventory and strengthen Gearsupply’s visual identity.
  • Work collaboratively with the marketing and operations teams while being self‑directed on daily tasks.

  • Experience designing for e‑commerce, marketplace environments, or product‑focused marketing (preferred).
  • Strong visual sense for layout, hierarchy, typography, and brand consistency.
  • Ability to adapt designs for multiple channels and formats.
  • Bonus: Short‑form video production skills, as well as familiarity with AV equipment, event production, concert technology.
What We Offer
  • Flexible part‑time hours and a supportive, collaborative team.
  • The chance to help shape the visual language of a growing e‑commerce marketplace.
