A well-established advertising company is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their Head Office team in Stellenbosch on a 3-month contract, working approximately 5 to 6 hours per day from Monday to Friday. The role suits a detail-focused individual who enjoys working with financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting processes within a busy, creative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Processing debtor invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up on outstanding amounts
  • Capturing and processing creditor invoices and preparing payment schedules
  • Maintaining and reconciling the cashbook to ensure accurate daily and monthly balances
  • Capturing and filing additional supplier invoices, maintaining an organised and up-to-date filing system
  • Assisting with month-end financial tasks, including reconciliations and supporting documentation
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with audits when required
  • Liaising with suppliers, internal teams, and service providers to resolve invoice or payment queries
  • Providing general bookkeeping support and assisting the finance team with ad-hoc administrative duties
Requirements
