About the job Panel Shop / Workshop Manager

Our client a privately owned Custom workshop is seeking the services of a Panel Workshop Manager for the Roodepoort / Randburg, Johannesburg Area.

The ideal candidate should have min of 5 years experience as a Workshop Manager / Senior Foreman with a panel shop or workshop.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Achieving Panel and Mechanical Workshop targets
• Streamlining and implementing systems and procedures to improve workflow
• Set up labour sales targets and weekly goals for workshop staff
• Allocate job cards / work to staff for the day
• Ensure staff achieve targets and implement incentive structures.
• Manage project to completion and within set deadlines
• Exceptional customer service and feedback
• Assisting Technicians and Panelbeaters with problems
• Manage the entire workshop from A-Z

Min Requirements and non negotiable skills

• 5 years experience as a workshop manager or senior foreman
• Highly experienced in Panel shop, Custom shop or Mechanical workshop
• Deadline driven and able to meet targets set out by management
• Strong Leadership skills
• Good Kowledge of HR policies and disciplinary action
• Experienced in a wide variety of makes and models
• Well spoken and have excellent communication skills
• Technically minded or have red seal qualifications
• Manage workshop workflow and daily throughput
