Role Overview

The client is a results-driven digital marketing agency focused on helping local businesses across the U.S. enhance their online presence and generate more revenue. The firm specializes in the "Home Service" industry (contractors, roofers, etc.) and offers high-traction services such as Negative Review Removal. Having previously relied on referrals, the company is now scaling and requires an aggressive outbound strategy to drive new client acquisitions.

About the Role

This is a new outbound appointment setting role focused exclusively on booking qualified meetings, not closing sales. The Virtual Assistant will be responsible for cold outreach to business owners, starting conversations, identifying interest or pain points, and booking appointments for the team. This role requires confidence on the phone, strong English communication, and prior experience speaking with US based business owners. This role will initially start as part time during the first one to two weeks as a trial period. High performing candidates who consistently book qualified appointments will be considered for a full time schedule. The role focuses strictly on outbound appointment setting, not sales or closing.

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead Sourcing & Prospecting
  • Manual Research: Manually source leads using Google Maps and Google Search rather than relying on recycled or purchased lists.
  • Targeted Search: Utilize search engines to find businesses within specific geographic locations and industries (e.g., "Roofers in San Diego").
  • Pain-Point Identification: Specifically identify businesses with "one-star" or negative reviews to offer company’s specialized review removal service.
  • List Building: Build and maintain self-generated prospecting lists and manage a consistent pipeline of leads.
2. Cold Outreach & Appointment Setting
  • Daily Call Volume: Execute daily outbound calling with an expected volume of approximately 30 to 50 calls per day.
  • Performance Goal: Consistently book one to two qualified appointments per day with interested business owners.
  • Rapport Building: Establish immediate trust and value on the phone, effectively navigating gatekeepers to reach decision-makers.
  • Appointment Coordination: Schedule and confirm qualified meetings between interested owners and the Agency Owner.
3. Brand Representation
  • Professional Presence: Act as the first point of contact, ensuring a professional, well-spoken, and authoritative representation of the agency.
  • Objection Handling: Navigate confrontation and objections naturally and assertively without sounding robotic or scripted.

Technical & Hard Skills
  • English Fluency: Must have native-level or near-native English fluency. A neutral or authoritative accent is required to build instant reliability with U.S. business owners.
  • Tech Setup: Must have a high-quality workstation, including a computer, a noise-canceling headset, and a rock-solid, high-speed internet connection.
  • Experience: Previous experience in cold calling or appointment setting for marketing agencies or B2B services is highly preferred.
