Overview

Join a manufacturing team as an Operations Manager in Gauteng!

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage daily operations; drive continuous improvement initiatives; analyse operational data to support cost-effective decision-making; implement lean manufacturing practices;
  • Provide inputs and justifications for CAPEX and OPEX budgets;
  • Ensure SHEQ compliance;
  • Manage workforce performance;
  • Supervise preventative and corrective maintenance;
  • Drive cost control;
  • Lead strategic projects.
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in a senior operations role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of technical, operational and commercial factors.
  • Tertiary engineering qualification (Bachelor’s degree in Chemical / Metallurgical / Mechanical / Electrical).
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, business acumen, and teamwork skills.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning.
