Job description

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Operations Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day operational activities of the business. Reporting directly to the Directors, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency across quality management, logistics, documentation, inventory control, aftersales support, and the Customer Response Centre.

This role requires a hands-on leader with strong organisational, problem-solving, and people management skills, ideally with experience in the ICT or a similar fast-paced environment.

Operations Management
  • Manage and allocate incoming operational tasks effectively
  • Maintain and update daily driver schedules
  • Ensure accurate invoicing in line with customer orders
  • Oversee stock receipt, control, accountability, and security
  • Generate purchase orders, including packaging requirements
  • Monitor dispatch documentation, filing, and supplier invoices
  • Report stock variances and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure proper handling of demo and loan devices
Reporting
  • Compile and submit accurate operational reports within deadlines, including:
  • Aftersales Reports
  • Loan Devices Reports
  • Monthly Mr Price Reports
Leadership & Team Management
  • Provide direction, guidance, and support to the Operations team
  • Conduct regular check-ins and performance reviews
  • Identify training needs and support staff development
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable, and professional team culture
Requirements
  • Matric and/or relevant Diploma (minimum)
  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar operations management role
  • Previous experience within the ICT sector (advantageous)
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
