KFC Rohloff Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operational Accountant to ensure accurate monitoring and reporting of operational financial performance across all business units. This role works closely with operational teams, translating FP&A insights into actionable recommendations that drive cost control, operational efficiency, and financial accountability. What You’ll Be Cooking Up:
Cost Monitoring & Analysis
  • Monitor key operational cost categories, including labor, food, and consumables.
  • Analyze variances against budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to operational managers to improve efficiency and achieve cost savings.
Financial Reporting & Data Integrity
  • Ensure accurate recording and reporting of operational financial data.
  • Validate data received from operational units and FP&A to maintain integrity.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly operational finance reports for business unit managers.
Project Financial Oversight
  • Manage financial tracking for new store builds, remodels, and capital projects.
  • Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and report deviations promptly.
  • Collaborate with project managers and operations teams to maintain financial control.
Asset Management Support
  • Work closely with the Operational Assets Accountant to support asset tracking, acquisitions, disposals, and verification processes.
Operational Finance Partnership
  • Serve as a financial partner to operations teams, providing guidance on best practices and compliance with financial policies.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to support business planning and informed decision-making.
What You’ll Bring to The Table:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting or operational finance, preferably within retail or multi-unit operations.
  • Proven experience in cost accounting, budgeting, and operational reporting.
  • Proficiency in ERP/Accounting systems and advanced MS Excel skills.
