Qualifications

• Minimum 5-year ultrasound experience in an OB-GYN Tertiary care setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound diagnostic procedures as requested by the physician.
• Review intake and patient history for information pertinent to examination.
• Document and generate ultrasound reports for physicians and radiologists.
• Review ultrasound findings with physicians.
• Conduct daily calibration checks on ultrasound equipment.

Skills

Ultrasound experience in an OB-GYN setting

Proficient in Computer skills

Abdominal Ultrasound

Pelvic/Transvaginal Ultrasound

OB Ultrasound (1st, 2nd, 3rd trimester)

Color Doppler imaging

Venous Color Doppler for DVT

Education

Associate or Bachelors’ degree in Science

Registered and in good standing with the Allied Health Professionals Council

ARDMS certification with sub specialties in AB, OB-GYN and vascular

CPR or Basic Life Support certification
