Our Study Abroad department is looking to add a Study Abroad Adviser to their team in Johannesburg. Our Study Abroad department provides student placement services to universities in Australia, Canada, USA, UK, New Zealand, Netherlands, Ireland, Cyprus, Sweden and Mauritius.

You're perfect for this position if you:
Among other tasks, your main responsibilities will include: Initial consultation and onboarding; Conducting introductory consultations with students and parents to review pre-assessment reports and outline the study abroad journey; Explaining programme details, timelines and next steps to students; University strategy and planning; Scheduling and leading University Strategy Sessions to finalise institution choices; Discussing entry requirements, tuition costs and application timelines; Evaluating applications and supporting with document assessment; Collaborating with the Admissions team to ensure accuracy of institution reports; Offer management and enrolment support; Sharing offer letters and guiding clients through acceptance processes; Supporting with tuition deposits, accommodation booking and enrolment preparation; Communicating and following up on deposit deadlines; Booking visa preparation meetings and sharing country-specific visa checklists; Coordinating with the Visa & Admissions Adviser for visa submission; Following up with students on enrolment day to confirm safe arrival and onboarding; Client management and developing strong client relationships to ensure growth in student numbers and satisfaction; Supporting students from application to enrolment, ensuring an exceptional experience aligned with Study Abroad's quality standards and values; Client reporting and compliance; Producing ad hoc reports as required by clients and partner agents; Ensuring the client is protected in terms of visa obligations; Advising prospective students on their study and visa processes, ensuring compliance with student visa requirements; Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client data on CRM systems; Providing regular feedback to the Regional Manager on progress, issues or concerns; Acting as a knowledge source for study and visa processes; Performing data capturing and administrative duties; Staying up-to-date with product knowledge to effectively market and consult students and prospective learners.
