Our client is seeking a highly skilled and dynamic individual to fill the position of Head of Sales and Business Development. This senior leadership role will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales and growth strategies, leading and mentoring the sales team, and uncovering new market opportunities to drive revenue growth.
Serving as the pivotal link between Marketing and Sales, the Head of Sales and Business Development will ensure revenue targets are consistently achieved through effective sales strategies, robust pipeline management, and superior client relationship development. The incumbent will foster a high-performance culture within the sales team and maintain alignment with the company’s broader business objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Matric and a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
- Preferred: Postgraduate qualification (MBA or advanced degree)
- Certification in sales leadership or strategic sales is advantageous
- At least 5 years’ experience in technical sales or technical business development roles, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership capacity
- Ideal candidate from would be from manufacturing/Industrial sector lego
- Managed a minimum of 15 technical sales engineers, nationally
- Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth
- Strong پانچ background in managing and coaching successful sales teams
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales analytics tools, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365
- In-depth understanding of market dynamics, sales strategy, and client relationship management

Key Responsibilities
- Develops and implements comprehensive sales strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Sets revenue targets, KPIs, and performance metrics for the sales team
- Analyses market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic direction
- Leads, mentors, and motivates the sales team to deliver exceptional performance

- Manages team performance, attendance, and discipline in accordance with company policies
- Identifies and pursues new business opportunities, markets, and strategic partnerships

- Develops and manages the sales budget and financial reports
- Forecasts revenue and resource requirements to achieve company goals
- Works closely with other departments to ensure company-wide alignment
- Represents the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
- Enhances brand visibility and reputation through strategic engagement with external stakeholders
