Requirements

• Appropriate qualification that allows for registration with HPCSA as a Medical Specialist in Anaesthesia. Registration with the HPCSA as a Medical Specialist in Anaesthesia. No experience required after registration with HPCSA as Medical Specialist in Anaesthesia.

Duties

• To administer and oversee the administration of Anaesthesia at all levels and service points. Providing clinical services in Anaesthesia subspecialties as determined by the department. Participate and assist in teaching and training of both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Perform administrative duties as delegated by the Head of Department.

• These positions will be joint appointments between the Gauteng Department of Health and the following academic institutions: University of Witwatersrand /University of Pretoria and/ Sefako Makgatho University
