Job summary

A reputable medical company in East London is seeking an experienced applicant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, as well as a friendly demeanor for handling patient inquiries. Responsibilities include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate patient records. This role requires Grade 12 education and comfort with medical software. Working hours are Monday to Saturday, 07h00 - 13h00.

  • Customer Service: A friendly demeanour and patience to handle patient inquiries and concerns professionally
  • Technology Proficiency: Comfort with using medical software for scheduling, billing, and electronic health records (EHR)
  • Medical Terminology: Basic knowledge of medical terminology is beneficial
Responsibilities
  • Greeting patients warmly and checking them in upon arrival
  • Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments
  • Providing information about services, procedures, and clinic policies
  • Handling patient inquiries and resolving issues or escalating them as necessary
  • Updating and maintaining patient records accurately
  • Verifying insurance information and processing insurance claims
  • Collecting payments, issuing receipts, and managing billing inquiries
  • Managing electronic and paper filing systems efficiently

Working hours: Monday to Saturday 07h00 - 13h00
