Introduction

Department : Installation Projects Department The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within approved budgets.


This includes resource acquisition, coordination of internal teams and external contractors, and effective stakeholder management.


The Project Manager ensures adherence to quality, safety, and ISO standards throughout the project life cycle.


Duties & Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities: Direct and manage project development from initiation to completion.



  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables aligned with organisational objectives.

  • Develop comprehensive project plans and communication documents.

  • Communicate expectations clearly to team members and stakeholders.

  • Maintain ongoing liaison with project stakeholders.

  • Estimate resources and personnel requirements.

  • Prepare and manage project budgets.

  • Collaborate to secure internal resources.

  • Recruit additional staff / consultants where required.

  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and ISO processes.

  • Identify and resolve project issues and team conflicts.

  • Manage dependencies and critical paths.

  • Develop project schedules and milestones.

  • Track and report project progress.

  • Prepare reports, proposals, documentation, and presentations.

  • Manage project scope changes and risks.

  • Define and communicate project success criteria.

  • Mentor and supervise project teams.

  • Build relationships essential for project success.

  • Conduct post-project reviews and recommendations.

  • Develop best practices for project execution.

  • Control financial performance.

  • Ensure final commissioning and handover.

  • Source materials and equipment cost-effectively.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Qualifications, Experience And Skills: Technical HVAC knowledge; engineering degree preferred.



  • Minimum 10 years HVAC project management experience (R35 million+).

  • Knowledge of current internet technologies.

  • Working knowledge of JBCC contracts.

  • Personnel management experience.

  • High proficiency in MS Office.
