Qualifications

Job description

Overview

The successful candidate will be expected to

• Be an expert in 3D CAD packages; including detailed design of industrial machines, sub-components, sheet metal design, weldments & large-scale assemblies
• Generate detailed drawings and BOMs
• Prepare manufacturing and assembly instructions
• Be highly competent at mechanical stress and load calculations, and, implementation of FEA and simulation software
• Have substantial experience with industrial machine and structural design
• Have substantial knowledge of motors, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical power transmission

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering
• Atleast 2-7 years industrial design experience
• Advanced Solid works experience
• Advanced geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
• Advanced knowledge of the MS Office
• Sound understanding of fabrication, boiler making, welding and precision machining

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

• LV electrical systems
• Enterprise PDM exposure
• FEM / FEA simulation analysis
• Engineering calculations software (Mathcad, MATLAB or similar)
