Description

Join our dynamic team as a Materials Planner in the fast-paced FMCG sector. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to ensure efficient management of inventory and materials, aligned with production schedules and customer demands.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize inventory levels using demand forecasting and material requirements planning.
• Collaborate closely with production, procurement, and logistics to align material availability with production schedules.
• Analyze and report on stock levels, lead times, and material usage to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials.
• Implement strategies for inventory control to minimize waste and excess stock.
• Continuously optimize processes and systems within the Material Planning function for efficiency.
• Perform regular review of Material Master Data in ERP systems to ensure accuracy.
• Support cross-functional teams in problem-solving and crisis management related to material shortages or excesses.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
• Assist in training and development of team members in materials planning best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in materials planning within the FMCG industry.
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes and inventory management.
• Proficient in ERP systems, preferably SAP or similar.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
