Job summary

A manufacturing company in KwaZulu-Natal is seeking an experienced Maintenance Foreman to oversee all maintenance activities within its plant. Responsibilities include developing maintenance procedures, overseeing repairs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety policies. The ideal candidate must have a Millwright qualification or equivalent, at least 5 years of maintenance experience in automotive manufacturing, and strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems. Qualifications

• Proven experience as a maintenance foreman.
• Minimum 5 years maintenance experience.
• Experience in manufacturing/automotive environment.
• Knowledge of PLCs, drives, servo motors, compressors, and hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance procedures.
• Conduct inspections to ensure systems are functional.
• Plan and oversee repair and installation activities.
• Identify and implement planned maintenance schedules.
• Manage relationships with contractors and service providers.
