Overview

Are you a seasoned maintenance professional with a strong technical background and leadership skills? Join a dynamic and well-established organization where your expertise in managing assets, facilities and maintenance programs will ensure operational efficiency, compliance and long-term asset performance.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage all maintenance projects and activities
• Supervise and control labour on maintenance projects
• Coordinate and oversee yard and office maintenance including labour allocation
• Compile maintenance requirements and formulate annual maintenance budgets
• Manage expenditure within approved budgets
• Develop, implement and manage preventative and corrective maintenance schedules
• Prepare daily progress and maintenance activity reports
• Conduct regular yard inspections to identify and resolve issues proactively
• Ensure maintenance programmes for company assets remain up to date
• Control and maintain all asset registers and compliance certifications

Qualifications & Skills

• 10 years proven experience in technical maintenance management
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Hands-on experience with crane maintenance (advantageous)
• Excellent planning, organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong administrative ability with keen attention to detail
• Effective communicator with strong verbal and written skills
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Highly quality-driven with a focus on accuracy and detail
• A relevant tertiary education and/or trade qualification
• Valid unendorsed drivers license
