A luxurious safari retreat is seeking a Lodge Manager to drive exceptional service and manage lodge operations. This role involves leading a diverse team, ensuring guest satisfaction, and overseeing all aspects of lodge management. Ideal candidates should have a Hospitality Management Diploma, strong leadership skills, and proficiency in Excel and Word. This is a live-in position, requiring flexibility in work hours. Qualifications

  • FGASA Level 1 (NQF 2) is beneficial but not essential.

A luxurious self-catering safari retreat is looking for a LODGE MANAGER

This is a great opportunity for a seasoned hospitality professional to step into a leadership role, driving world-class service, managing operations, and ensuring every guest experiences the magic of a truly exclusive South African safari.

Core criteria :

  • Matric and a Hospitality Management Diploma or equivalent is preferable
  • Valid First Aid qualification
  • FGASA Level 1 (NQF 2), DEAT registered, valid PDP would be beneficial, but is not essential
  • Must have strong leadership capabilities and be able to lead a diverse team
  • Excellent operational experience encompassing every aspect of Lodge Management, including HR, Admin, FOH & Guest Experience.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to interact with guests, staff, and shareholders.
  • Proficiency in Excel & Word
  • Availability to work flexible hours as well as extra hours when required
  • Desire, drive, and experience to develop the lodge to its full potential.

This is a live-in position (no pets). Work cycle - 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off.
