Position Summary

Vanzbon Group is seeking a Local Operations & Compliance Executive to support on-the-ground delivery in South Africa.

The role focuses on company registration, coordination with public authorities, preparation and submission of documentation, and basic market-entry and compliance support for international clients establishing operations in South Africa.

The ideal candidate is practical, organised, and comfortable engaging directly with government offices, service providers, and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support company incorporation and amendments with the Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) and related registries.
  • Coordinate with the South African Revenue Service (SARS) for tax registrations (e.g. income tax, VAT, PAYE/UIF) and basic tax-related procedures.
  • Assist with documentation and processes for local business licences, municipal approvals, and other operational permits where required.
  • Prepare, organise, and submit application files; track timelines and follow up on pending cases with authorities and service centres.
  • Clarify procedural steps, required documentation, and applicable fees with government offices, banks, notaries, and other intermediaries.
  • Assist in confirming basic market-entry and compliance pathways for foreign‑invested projects and summarise key requirements for internal teams.
  • Maintain structured digital records of applications, approvals, contracts, and correspondence.
  • Support practical arrangements related to corporate setup, such as notary coordination, translations, certifications, and bank onboarding documentation.
  • Provide clear status updates and written reports to regional and HQ teams in English.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Accounting, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in corporate administration, government liaison, professional services, or a similar operational role.
  • Familiarity with CIPC company registration, SARS tax registrations, and local licensing processes is highly valued.
  • Exposure to basic finance or tax topics (e.g. invoicing, VAT, income tax, payroll concepts) is an advantage.
  • Strong coordination, follow‑up, and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency in English; additional local language skills are an advantage.
  • Legally eligible to work in South Africa.

  • Strong sense of responsibility, ownership, and reliability in managing tasks and deadlines.
