Job description

About the position

Herotel Business is looking for skilled Key Account Managers to create long-term, trusting relationships with our enterprise clients.

The role is to oversee a portfolio of Enterprise Business customers, process new business, and build direct relationships with Enterprise clients.

The Key Account Manager will also work closely with internal teams to leverage enterprise resources and maximize revenue opportunities within client accounts.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of key enterprise accounts to achieve long-term success.
  • Develop positive relationships with enterprise clients.
  • Assist with onboarding new enterprise clients alongside the Head of Sales.
  • Conduct "Welcome" meetings with new clients, sharing communication streams and relevant information.
  • Promote Herotel enterprise products to clients to ensure optimal sales and satisfaction.
  • Track sales targets aligned with enterprise objectives.
  • Articulate the value of our products/services within client organizations.
  • Upsell and cross-sell where opportunities exist.
  • Process upgrade/downgrade requests and submit signed quotes for billing.
  • Convey client requirements to operations teams regularly.
  • Provide monthly sales forecasts.
  • Submit installation quotes and escalate unresolved issues.
  • Assess feasibility of new requests and provide quotes.
  • Present latest pricing on new services.
  • Report on quotes accepted for new services and upgrades.
  • Assist with ad-hoc duties as needed.
  • Manage contacts and tickets, with reporting on sales activities.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12
  • Relevant tertiary qualification beneficial
  • 2-5 years in Key Account Management or similar
  • Customer support experience
  • Understanding of Herotel networks and limitations
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and consultation skills
  • Knowledge of value creation metrics
  • Understanding of the relevant geographic/sector business realities
  • Solid account management skills
  • Strong responsibility, communication, and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent knowledge of Herotel services and feasibility checking
