Responsibilities

• Analysis and Design: Examine documentation such as business requirements and specifications to derive test estimates and formulate a strategic test approach, ensuring thorough test coverage.
• Implementation: Develop automation or load testing scripts that adhere to internal standards and best practices, and use version control tools to maintain organization and efficiency.
• Execution: Execute technical tests methodically and accurately, including automated regression testing packs.
• Defect Management: Formally log defects found during testing, follow up on their progress, and retest once they are addressed.
• Retesting and Regression Testing: Conduct retesting and regression testing to ensure that software changes have not adversely affected existing functionality or performance, and maintain automated regression test packs.
• Reporting: Create test progress and test completion reports, leveraging automated reporting capabilities whenever possible.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.
