SUMMARY

High- end Restaurant in Rivonia is looking for an experienced Junior FOH / Floor Manager.

The candidate should be well-spoken, well-presented and passionate about hospitality, as well as be disciplined, hardworking, technically focused and task orientated who can work at a high pace in a predictable manner with great attention to detail.

You will be responsible for creating and implementing a continuous waiter training schedule, as well as identifying and implementing important restaurant and service procedures.

  • Assist in all areas where needed
  • Checking that all duties have been completed by floor staff.
  • Conduct staff performance evaluations
  • Daily Cash-up
  • Deal with customers, compliments and complaints, follow up etc.
  • Implement and follow the rules of the company
  • Maintain and sustain top service levels
  • Maintain dress code standards
  • Manage a large staff complement
  • Opening and closing duties
  • Present a positive image of the company
Requirements
  • Grade 12
  • Post-matric qualification is advantageous
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a high-end restaurant environment
  • Good knowledge of duties and procedures in a restaurant environment.
  • Computer knowledge
  • Knowledge of restaurant software
  • Experience in large restaurants is beneficial
  • Must have fine-dining / high end restaurant experience
