The candidate will assist in processing invoices, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure compliance with financial policies. Ideal candidates will have a Matric certificate and strong numerical skills, alongside proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Previous experience in finance is beneficial but not essential. Job description

LDC (18 Months)

The Junior Financial Administrator will support the finance department by handling day-to-day administrative tasks, assisting with financial record-keeping, and ensuring accurate data entry.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist in processing invoices, payments and receipts in line with company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and update accounting databases and spreadsheets.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial closings.
  • Help monitor accounts payable and receivable, following up on outstanding payments where necessary.
  • Handle expense claims, and other small-scale financial transactions.
  • Ensure all documentation is filed appropriately and complies with company and legal standards.
  • Assist with internal and external audits as needed.
  • Respond to queries from suppliers, clients, and internal teams regarding financial matters.
  • Adhere to all company financial policies and procedures.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with accounting software is an advantage.

Qualifications and Experience
  • Matric certificate (Grade 12) required; a diploma or degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is advantageous.

Reporting Line

The Junior Financial Administrator will report to the Finance Controller.
