Qualifications

Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior Draughtsman to support the design and engineering team by creating, updating, and maintaining technical drawings and 3D models of automotive components and systems. Working under the supervision of senior engineers and designers, the successful candidate will apply CAD software skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn industry standards. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings, schematics, and models of automotive parts and assemblies using CAD software (SolidWorks preferred; AutoCAD or CATIA also accepted).
  • Translate engineering concepts into manufacturable drawings in line with specifications and tolerances.
  • Update drawings and documentation as required by feedback from engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.
  • Manage project files systematically, including revision histories, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide design-related support to departments such as manufacturing and quality control.
  • Ensure all drawings meet applicable industry standards, safety regulations, and internal quality management systems.
  • Contribute to prototype and test model production for design validation.
  • Stay updated with new drafting techniques, CAD tools, and automotive manufacturing processes.
