Job summary

About the job JUNIOR CELLAR & LOGISTICS ADMIN (WINERY)

Career Growth, Hospitality Recruitment are looking for a Junior Logistics and Cellar Administrator who will be responsible for the administrative support of the Winemaker and Logistics department.

Responsibilities
  • All administrative processes for the Winemaker, including wine audits, ordering of cellar consumables, inventory control in the cellar, handling wine sampling and documentation and other light cellar duties;
  • Logistics administration: the storage of wine, stocktake and stock control;
  • Assisting with the planning and scheduling of labelling;
  • Assisting with the management of the dry goods stock: processing orders, liaising with suppliers, etc.;
  • Assisting with managing, track & coordinate export/logistic process;
  • Preparing documentation & administration relation to export & domestic shipments;
  • Logistics administration;
  • Sending samples, loading of consignments & completing the associated administration.
Requirments
  • A relevant tertiary qualification (Diploma or Degree);
  • At least 1-2 years experience in a similar role;
  • Strong computer & organization skills;
  • Ability to work independently & under pressure;
  • Ability to handle & prioritize multiple tasks & meet all deadlines;
  • Attention to detail & accuracy;
  • Good interpersonal skills & communication skills;
  • Skilled & licenced forklift driver will be an advantage;
  • Knowledge of wine online, SAWIS documentation & IPW admin & audit will be an advantage;
  • Knowledge of export regulations & freight forwarder experience with laboratory samples submission will be an advantage;
