Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage the IT team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
IT Strategy and Planning
- Develop and implement IT strategies and policies that align with the organizations goals.
- Plan and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and expenditures.
Infrastructure Management
- Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of the organizations IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware.
- Ensure the availability, performance, and security of IT systems and applications.
Project Management
- Manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet deadlines, budgets, and specifications.
- Coordinate with other departments to understand their technology needs and deliver solutions.
Cybersecurity
- Implement and manage cybersecurity measures to protect the organizations data and IT assets.
- Monitor and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities.
Vendor and Asset Management
- Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring optimal performance and value.
- Oversee the procurement and lifecycle management of IT assets.
Technical Support
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, addressing and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure effective helpdesk operations and user support services.
Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure IT operations comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, processes, and procedures.
Qualifications
- Education : Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field; masters degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL) preferred.
- Experience : 12-15 years of experience in IT management or a similar role.
- Technical Skills : Proficiency in IT infrastructure management, network administration, cybersecurity practices, and various software and hardware technologies.
- Leadership Skills : Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Project Management : Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
- Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to resolving technical issues.
