St Cyprian’s School for Girls, Cape Town, seeks to appoint a passionate and dedicated isiXhosa Teacher in our Preparatory School from January 2026. The successful candidate will teach isiXhosa First Additional Language (FAL) to Grades 5 – 7 and inspire a genuine love for the language in young learners.

We are looking for an educator who is:

  • Enthusiastic about isiXhosa language and culture, able to create joyful and engaging learning experiences.
  • Innovative in teaching practice, with the ability to cultivate curiosity and confidence in students.
  • Committed to nurturing collaborative, inclusive classrooms where every learner feels a sense of belonging.
  • A recognised teaching qualification.
  • Current registration with SACE.
  • A proven track record of teaching isiXhosa, preferably at the Prep School level.
  • A willingness to contribute with energy and wholehearted participation to the broader life of the school.
