Responsible for applying technical expertise in overseeing the installation, configuration, administration, and monitoring of Information technology security systems.

• Maintain, control and operate the server and application security systems and infrastructure.
• Implement IT security systems and fault management support procedures.
• Monitor IT systems.
• Analyse logs proactively to help the Municipality with its security methodology.
• Monitor the security posture of IT systems and advise on weaknesses identified and provide recommendations for improvements.
