Job summary

A pioneering growth company in South Africa is seeking a driven salesman with technical understanding to join their team. The ideal candidate should have strong sales experience and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include managing sales from inquiry to installation, assisting clients, and ensuring showroom presentation. This role offers a basic salary of R15,000 with potential commissions up to R30,000.

A highly driven and tenacious salesman with good technical understanding is needed for our pioneering growth company and a well-respected brand. Hydrofire is an importer of high-quality heating products from Europe and is regarded as a center of excellence for heating solutions and expertise in South Africa. This role is perfect for a driven person who is looking to improve their way of life by working hard and earning a great commission-based income.

Specific Required abilities

  • Ability to provide accurate quotes
  • Ability to follow through a sale from Enquiry, Quote sale and Installation to post installation
  • Ability to handle, manage problems and propose solutions
  • Assist walk in/over the phone clients
  • Correspond to client emails and sending of quotes
  • Raising Invoices for retail and wholesale customers
  • Sales interaction are to be performed under the strict guidelines of the company and as per the “Knowledge Base Document” used for training. Verbal and written instructions will also be given
  • Responsible for the sale of all Hydrofire products

Operations

  • Double checking prepared orders for clients
  • Assisting in Stock Counts
  • Ensuring that the showroom is in a presentable condition and all fireplace and flue display models look presentable
  • Ensuring that all units have correct and accurate pricing

Who we are looking for - track record and must haves

  • Matric with strong Algebra and ideally some Science
  • Computer Literate – MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong relevant experience in Sales (in-house as well as external)
  • Driver’s License
  • Clean track record and positive references
  • R15 000 basic salary
  • Up to R30 000 extra Commission
