Purpose of Role

The Hydraulics Engineer will assist with the sale and management of Weir related pumping solutions. This role will be predominantly focused on slurry and dewatering solutions, although not limited to them. The role will mainly be in the field, supporting the regions with the sale and installation of these dewatering solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for the product, internally and externally.
  • Conduct site visits and troubleshoot issues.
  • Identify and develop new markets.
  • Support the wider Weir community with technical support.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Metallurgical / Chemical / Mechanical).
  • 1-3 years post qualification experience in a mining / manufacturing environment.

  • Pump selection experience (advantageous).
