Responsibilities

  • Advise on P&C solutions aligned with healthcare objectives.
  • Support performance management processes, including goal setting and reviews.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to forecast staffing needs.

Dis-Chem Pharmacies’ in Midrand has an opportunity available for a Human Resource Business Partner to join the team. The main purpose of this role will be to deliver integrated, value‑adding People & Culture partnership across the assigned function (s). Provides management and employee support, drives people initiatives, and ensures operational P&C delivery that aligns with business priorities. The individual is a trusted advisor to line management, enabling a high-performance culture, supporting workforce readiness, and embedding Dis-Chem's people strategy and culture framework (Formula for Success).

Minimum Requirements

Essential:

  • Grade12/Matric
  • Bachelor'sDegreeinHumanResourcesorIndustrialPsychology

Business Partnering & Advisory
  • ServeasastrategicpartnertoservicefunctionsandmanagersbyadvisingonP&Csolutionsalignedwithhealthcareobjectives.
  • Translatebusinessneedsintopeopleplansthatsupportoperationaldelivery,compliance,and workforceoptimisation.
  • Provideday-to-daysupportonperformance,conduct,talentmovement,andgeneralP&Cadvisor.
Employee Relations & Compliance
  • EnsureconsistentapplicationofDis-Chem’spoliciesandlabourlegislation(BCEA,LRA,POPIA).
  • Managedisciplinary,grievance,andcounsellingmattersincollaborationwiththecentralERfunction.
  • Supportandcoachlinemanagersinmanagingfairandconstructiveemployeerelations.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
  • PartnerwithTalentAcquisitiontoforecast,plan,andfulfilstaffingneedsforvariousworkingstructures andschedules.
